🏰 Kasteel Heeswijk
📍 Heeswijk-Dinther, The Netherlands

First time showing Ana one of “our” Dutch castles — Kasteel Heeswijk.

Castles are rare on Tenerife, so it was nice to show Ana something that she isn't used to see!

I tried to capture it from every angle: the history, the water, the stone walls, and that view that you only notice when you see a place with someone new.

It’s funny how familiar places become adventures again when you share them with the right person! 🏰❤️📸

🗓️ March & April 2023
🏡 Between Goodbyes, Home & Loud Nights
📍 Barcelona & Schijndel 🇪🇸🇳🇱

1️⃣ A quiet sunrise at Barcelona airport, on the way back from Tenerife after visiting Ana. A night flight, some attempts to sleep at the airport (with no luck) , and then straight back to reality.

2️⃣A turning mill in Schijndel, filmed just to share a small piece of home with Ana. Something that's very normal for me, might be very interesting for someone else who's not from here!

3️⃣And somewhere in between… Paaspop. Crowds, lights, fireworks, loud music — a reminder that life keeps moving, even when your heart is split between places. Go with the flow! 💛

Different scenes, same chapter. 🌄🚲🎆

🍁 Golden Colours of Autumn
📍 North Brabant, The Netherlands 🇳🇱

Autumn in the Netherlands — a season that turns every walk and every familiar street into a feeling of happiness 🍁✨

From my hometown Schijndel, to Kasteel Maurick in Vught, and the roads near Den Bosch where I did my internship — everything was covered in shades of gold, orange, and red.
There’s something peaceful about seeing the leaves fall down, don’t you think? 🍂

I always get a craving for chestnuts and bock beers 🍺🌰 How about you?

What’s your favorite season? 💭

🌄 Sunset on the Hill
📍 Schijndel, The Netherlands 🇳🇱

On the Vlagheide in Schijndel, we watched the sun set and the sky turn purple, while cows quietly grazed in the fields 🐄

What a peaceful sunset, right? 🤩

🌄 Quiet Meadow Sunset
📍 Schijndel, The Netherlands 🇳🇱

Do you hear that? Exactly, me neither. What a silence.. This was an evening well spent: a peaceful walk to the through nature with our little four-legged friend Ziggy 🐾🌾🌅

As the sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon, the fields turned gold, and time seemed to stand still.

Moments like these — no noise, no rush, just nature, love, and a dog wagging his tail.

Do you have a favorite sunset spot near home? 🌍💬

🏞️ River Sunset
📍 Berlicum, The Netherlands🇳🇱

Some evenings don’t need big plans — just a spontaneous drive, a quiet canal, and the sky putting on a show 🌅🚗💛

Together we watched the sun go down over the Zuid-Willemsvaart near Berlicum — stillness, golden light, and that cozy Dutch calm.

It’s these simple moments that will always be beautiful.

What’s your favorite way to end the day? 💬

⛪ A day to 's-Hertogenbosch by bike!
📍' s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands 🇳🇱

On this day, @anaveerl and me went to 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) by bike. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop us! When in The Netherlands, you simply have to use a bike 🚲

We stopped first to have some bitterballen 😋 and then we continued to see the Sint Janskathedraal. After we enjoyed a coffee (Ana a Chocomel 🍫) in one of the cozy streets of Den Bosch, we went back home.

Once we were home, there was a beautiful sunset, with a beautiful orange coloured sky 🌇

⁣
Wat een leuke kans kreeg ik zeg!⁣
⁣
⁣
Ik ben je onwijs dankbaar!⁣
⁣
Fijn weekend strijder!⁣

Niet vergeten. Gekke wereld. Zeker nu niet.

Dit is het ‘Monument to the Dutch’.

❤️🤍💙
