to my first love,

Thank you to dance for always being the one constant in my life, regardless of everything else happening around me and teaching me everything I need to know about life. All of my blood, sweat, and tears that came from this sport also came with emotion, laughter, and joy. The 15 years I spent competing will always hold memories that cannot be forgotten and have the most special place in my heart. Thank you to everyone who has supported and carried me through the ups and downs, who helped me pin in a hair piece, given me extra tights, or sewed my costumes last minute. I’m forever grateful I got to spend my life with so many different dancers along the way and will never forget the feeling right before you step on the stage or the countless hours spent in the studio rehearsing with my team. to my first and truest love, thank you dance.
