Summer so far!!!!!!!

over the last three weeks, I have had the incredible opportunity to attend three different nationals. two as a faculty member with Sheer Elite International and one as a teacher.

In the center of these three weeks, I also lost my aunt. The brightest of lights in this world. The most courageous, spirited, compassionate person I will ever know. A soul that truly will never give up. And while this feels impossible in most ways, what has kept me moving this past week has been the effort to try and live up to this extraordinary woman and spread her spirit & message.

@envisiondancecompany I am so incredibly proud and filled to the top with gratitude to get to call this my family. there’s nothing that can explain the joy I feel getting to see the hard work that the dancers have put in this year be rewarded with the honor of Studio Of The Year! let’s go, season 11!!

@sheerelite family, there are no words to describe the lifelong dream that this has been or the lifelong friendships that have been made. to the dancers over the entire tour, thank you to the ones who showed up and choose to bring the light into the room. again, there are not enough words. see you next year!!

and to those who read this whole thing, thank you and please continue to contribute to the fight against cancer in any way.

Man O man, I truly don’t even know how to begin to unload what has come out of this week spent with @dancemakersinc nationals. I could say “thank you” 1000 times but it would never live up to the amount of gratitude and admiration I have for this family. Dancemakers has been an environment I have always looked up too. Not only do you appreciate a dancer’s talent but you prioritize the community and wellbeing of everyone . The learning along with the training has never failed to challenge me, yet within all of this competition, you guys always invite in so much love and care to the space. for this to be able to coexist in such a competitive industry is so magical and dear to me. With that being said , I am eternally thankful on becoming a part of Collective season XIII. It was a dream I thought would only remain in my 11:11 wishes but it has turned a reality and I’m filled with so much eager and so much appreciation.
I want to dedicate my award to the people who got me here. @danceexplosionco you have fought tooth and nail for all my success and have done things beyond necessity to help me excel. To you I owe everything and I love you for eternity!!
And too all the silent hero’s along the way , your actions spoke louder to me than words could ever. You are so appreciated in every way and I truly could not have accomplished what I have without your support.
Lastly, to everyone who has inspired me, teachers , dancers and collective, I feel blessed to have been privileged enough to have witnessed your journey. To all the staff at DMI, I’m at a lost for words. The way you pour every ounce of wisdom and information into every class is so inspiring and I just can’t wait to become a part of that side of this experience. And lastly to my upcoming collective friends, this is about to be the best year of our lives, could not be happier with the people that were chosen. I love you all already and I most certainly cannot wait for the memories we’re bound to make.
I vow to cherish every bit of the season to come and hope to be a light to someone else. Fun again tour , I love you already. Let’s dance. See you all soon.

✨𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

What a weekend with Motion Dance at the @grier_school!! I had the wonderful opportunity to work with 15 fierce dancers to set a 6 min work in only 4 hours, judge a competition, teach classes, and performed @christopherkaui/@ckm_and_artists iconic solo “Selling Out” (which I hadn’t done in 10 years!).

It was also so great connecting with dancers in @jonlehrerdance & @gallimdanceco and it was an absolute honor to share space with them.

THANK YOU to @jocelynhrzic for inviting me to be part of this event. I always love visiting the Grier School and what you do for the dancers and community is incredible.

THANK YOU to @jillianhrzic for being the best assistant and riding buddy! Wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!

THANK YOU to the 15 amazing dancers for working so hard to learn ICON in such a short amount of time and delivering a fierce performance!
