Back to the Future: First National Tour✅
•
It’s been three months since we closed BTTF and I feel like I’ve finally had the space to reflect on just how much this show changed my life. This show was my first national tour, my first time being a swing, first time being a dance captain and playing a lead role in a show this scale. To say I was terrified is an understatement. I didn’t know how I was going to make it through but that anxiety was immediately alleviated the moment I met this company. So many wonderful, talented, generous and kind people in one room really makes the job not feel like work. And over the course of two years I got to meet and work with so many incredible people. People that will be a part of my community for the rest of my life. 20 photos is simply not enough to capture over two years of my life and showcase all of the incredible people and places I got to experience and come to know and love. There were so many ups and downs on this tour, but at the end of the day the good outweighs the bad tenfold and this show will always have a special place in my heart. Special shoutout to @bethiec717 , @baileybailey73 , @rando.j , @taylorhaven , @jordanmarkmurphy , @bittybohn , @dwaynepmitchell , @benlanham and every swing who ever walked the halls of Hill Valley because that shit was not easy and we pulled it off with style! Bulldogs forever, babes💙

3 weeks in Toronto was not enough!! I stepped off the plane (literally… haven’t walked the tarmac in years), and barely stopped moving until we left. Toronto was: our 200th show, a stunning Sunday Roast family dinner with the company, a bittersweet goodbye to @deetomasetta and @camnye_the_soundguy , an epic spa day, reunions with old friends and making new friends, and several trips to Hanlan’s Point beach - aka my new happy place. We also had a fun hang with the band from the Mamma Mia tour (which was in town at the same time), and our own astonishingly wonderful band.

I may be gone, but I’m still accepting applications for my Canadian husband (or any other scheme that gets me back there…).
