POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From a remote mountain community in Norway, @askcarolmusic is bringing their grungy and folksy indie vibes to the 8th Edition of The New Colossus Festival (March 9–14, 2027)

Ask Carol is an alternative indie-rock duo that has emerged from the remote Norwegian mountain community of Auma, ready to shake up the music scene. Don’t let the small size of this band fool you - with two guitars, drums, synth, Carol’s unique bass and guitar system, and a bit of multitasking, Ask Carol packs a punch with a sound as big as a full band. The music of this high-energy power-duo ranges from fierce and mean to soft and comforting, all with a distinct Nordic, melancholic twist.

RIYL: @, The Kills, Asgeir, Lowertown

Catch their hypnotic single “Desert” on our official 2027 playlist at the link in bio.

①TAURO - ACT I

Le Makeup

④Borderline - Borderline

⑤madfolk - madfolk

⑥GLIM SPANKY - Into The Time Hole

⑦SPOOL - (image for) drawing on canvas

⑧ayutthaya - Lighthouse

We can’t wait to host Chicago Electronic Art-Rock band @thishouseiscreaking at the 8th Edition of The New Colossus Festival, happening March 9-14, 2027.

Chicago-based duo Micah Miller and Ehmed Nauman form This House Is Creaking (THiC), a project born from the “third mind” of their collaboration. As musician, writer, and photographer Leor Miller captures, THiC channels 90s alt-rock, Midwest emo, and the spastic digital experiments of PC Music into pop-forward, anthemic art-rock. Turning inner monologues into dialogues about existential security, their music ranges from aggressive to caressing—transforming moments of self-change, miscommunication, and comfort into sonic experiments that both bombard and reassure the listener.

They’ve recently opened for Water From Your Eyes, Hotline TNT & DIIV.

FFO: Bleary Eyed, Total Wife, Full body 2, TAGABOW, Melaina Kol

You can listen to their new mindmelting single “There’s a Stench in the Air,” now on the 2027 New Colossus Playlist at the link in bio
