Open communication and honesty landed me my first job in the industry! When you’re authentic to who you are, the right person (@vanessavwood) will hire you!

On today’s episode of Chirp & Chat 🎤🐦 it’s a full circle moment for @meghan_vanderford as she waxes her mentor @vanessavwood, Founder of @waxbare and @waxbaresalon 🤍 *they were both nervous for very different reasons*

Yes, I did theater. Yes, I was usually ensemble 😭 or if I was lucky, a carpet! I believe the rejection I received as a child built some character 😅 #chirpandchat 🎤🐦

ARE YOU EVEN READY FOR OUR NEXT GUEST?!?? @dixonherr and I have been friends for a lifetime. She’s here to teach you a thing or two about drag and give me some belly laughs in the meantime.

*my ring did bust through my gloves during this episode*

Just wanted to shoutout our amazing cast and crew once again! This project wouldn't have happened without everybody working together and volunteering all of their time and talent. Love you all and can't wait to show our stuff at @ncfilmfest in two weeks!

Wow. Seriously what an amazing night! Thank you to everyone who came and made it so fun and so special. We had no idea if we could fill up @thesofiasac and we got pretty close! All the comics/cast killed it and the reaction to our pilot was very cool to experience. Hopefully we repped Sac and our comedy community well! Please stay tuned and tell your friends. There will be more of The Host soon! 📸: @aglovig

@juliesotowrites talks about where she gets inspiration for her steamy scenes for her romance novels 💨 and it’s not what you think!

We welcomed @anthonythebarber916 to #chirpandchat! Can you believe he is trying to take credit for Meghan’s career after only their third date?!

No, but in all seriousness the esthetics industry IS similar to barbering 15 years ago. We’re blowing up and making some big waves in the beauty world!

Watch Meghan put on a brave face and a little sass with @grnjuiceandtequila during #chirpandchat 🎤🐦

@meghan_vanderford has been getting waxed for 10+ years and still has this reaction 😅
