ADVOCACY IN ACTION: The Wichita Heart Ball Ambassadors learned about the power of advocacy and the impact it can have in Kansas. The students also got a glimpse of the Marketing and Communications world at the American Heart Association and why branding is important. ❤️

Heart survivor and Kansas State Representative Leo Delperdang shared his inspiring personal story and encouraged students to use their voices to create change.

We're excited to see how these future leaders apply what they've learned and continue creating a healthier future for all!

The birthday of my dreams!!!

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew my golden bday was going to be special, and these girls (and so many amazing people not pictured) made that happen. I’m so blessed with the best friends that a girl… a 30 year old WOMAN could ask for. Here’s to staying young and wild 🐆❤️‍🔥

Every minute matters in a cardiac emergency. Thanks to IMA Financial Group's sponsorship, CPR in Youth Sports Kits were presented to Scott Martin of Genesis Sports Complex, Westurban Baseball, and SouthWest Boys Club, equipping staff with the tools and training to confidently respond when every second counts. ⚾ 🎾 🏈 🥅

"As a heart survivor myself, having more CPR kits in our community means so much to me," said Dan Mize, President, IMA Wichita. "Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. I know firsthand how critical it is for someone to be nearby and ready to act in an emergency. By providing these kits, we are increasing awareness, helping ensure that people are equipped with the lifesaving knowledge of hands-only CPR, and the tools they need to potentially save a life."
