aggie softball,
where do i even begin? throughout the 5 years you’ve been apart of my life, you’ve played a major role in how i am today. i remember growing up watching you and thinking “that’s going to be me” and sure enough it was. you’ve taught me many things, and our ride has definitely been a rollercoaster through the years. many wins, many losses. many Ks and many ERs. many laughs and many cries. though we’ve been through a lot, there’s one main thing that you’ve shown me through it all: God’s character.
you’ve shown me how He’s given me a gift. you’ve given me an open platform to share and show His love. you’ve shown me how even in the toughest of games, the strength and courage He’s given me to continue to play. you’ve let Him provide me with some of my bestest friends. and most of all, you’ve shown me that He’s my biggest cheerleader. every pitch. every at bat. every long practice. every late night game. He has been by my side, holding my hand the entire time.
thank you for the opportunity to be able to wear your name across my chest the past 5 years. thank you for the many many lessons i’ve learned and can use throughout my life. thank you for being another support to lean on during the hard times. and for giving me such a wonderful community who’s cheered me on. its been a blessing to be an aggie.
this isnt goodbye, i’m not done yet.
