Dear High School Softball,
You were a rollercoaster of emotions, sophomore year running over from JV to varsity, getting my first varsity start, constellation state champs, Junior year started out on bench going in when needed and starting pitching where and there to stating first base in the state championship, winning state. Senior year came and went, 2nd place sections, and it’s all over. HS softball isn’t for everyone there’s time you want to quit there’s time you wish it never ended there’s time you hate doing it and there’s times you love doing it. Good things have to come to an end eventually :(

The past 15 years of my life have been shaped by softball, and I’ve learned more from the game than I ever expected. I’m incredibly grateful for every coach who’s guided me and every teammate I’ve had the privilege to play alongside. Choosing to continue playing after high school was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, the past two years have truly been unforgettable. I had the opportunity to share the field with some of my now closest friends, who helped me rediscover my love for the game. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to finish my career with. ❤️💙💚

There’s so much i could say but not enough time. Thank you Raider softball for so many memories and so many friends. I can proudly say that the girls i have met have become family to me and people i hold dear to my heart. I wish we could have had more time together but what can ya do, I won’t trade any of the memories I have made over the season for anything else in the world. Saying goodbye to this chapter hasn’t been easy, but God has been so good through it all. I didn’t just fall in love with the sport, I fell in love with the people He placed in my life along the way. I’m so grateful for this season and the memories that will stay with me forever. God is so good!
