A little late to the party… but happy graduation! 🎓🎉

Isn’t it crazy to believe that the little “us” who thought 2025 would never come around, are now living it, and living beyond it. Even that, deserves a shout of thanksgiving. To be alive and breathing still, at a spot we never thought we would reach.

But, you know me; I would like to give some “thanksgiving” to three things:

 * Thank You God. Thank You for Your Son, who died for me 2025 years ago, that fulfilled everything we needed; that now I can have a relationship with God, full of rawness and childlike friendship. If it weren’t for God’s hand holding on to mine throughout school, I would not have made it. Through the best, the bumps; the joys, the jumps. He truly gave me the eyes to see and the ears to listen to grow with Him as I walked through those hallways and classrooms. Thank You, God, for sticking by me the whole time. Isaiah 43:13 “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’” became real to me during these years.

* Thank You to every single person in these photos, but also, the people not in these photos. What a blessing it has been to meet each and every one of you, with different personalities, gifts, and smiles. The ways you have poured into me in various times of my school career - with unique intention by the Lord - have molded me into who I am today.

* Thank you to this school. Where I learned how to embrace leadership, sustain hard work ethics, and strive for the stars. And the teachers, who made those things all possible: thank you. Your compassion and long hours do not go unnoticed.

Here’s to the future, everyone. It is so bright. The world might be dark, but you: be a light. If you don’t remember it from my little speech, I’ll say it again: Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans I have for you’, says the Lord, ‘Plans for your good and not for disaster; to give you a hope and a future.’”

Eastern York, it’s been real. Gracie Hoffman, 2025 VP, out. ✌️
