HEATHERS 💛❤️💚 💙🖤 a great musical and one of my dream shows. I missed the opportunity to do this musical a few years back, but when I went and saw it, I knew that I didn't wanna quit musical theater as I had previously thought. Getting to now participate in the show was amazing and I made some great friends along the way.

i’ve been putting off making this post, mostly because it’d force me to finally accept that this show is over. the main thing I want to say is thank you to @fyl_community_theatre for providing me with this incredible opportunity and trusting me to play my dream role in my dream show. each and every part of this process was so fun, from the very first rehearsal to my very last show, and every person i’ve worked with, some familiar and some new, have been an absolute joy. i am filled with a sense of bittersweet now that heathers is over, but it will be a part of me forever (the me inside of me heehee haha). i love my people and the art we create more than i could ever put into words, some other big thanks to @ashelijah09 @jam6691 @paxtom_sund and Shelby for behind the scenes work. thank you again and i love all of you

Heathers💚❤️💛💙 I genuinely can’t put into words how much this show has meant to me. I have wanted to play 💚Heather Duke💚 for the longest time and it’s so cool that this is the first dream role done on my checklist. I made SO MANY new life long friends and have deepened connections with people I didn’t expect. I love everyone so dearly and I couldn’t have been more grateful to be a part of this show. Thank you to @jam6691 @ashelijah09 @sunrisekingdom7 @paxtom_sund and @fyl_community_theatre for making this show happen. I know it was a dream show for many of the people in the 2 casts and we couldn’t have done any of it without you guys. And a special shoutout to my amazing vocal coach @swissgoldie for helping me get to the point that I am at right now. You have helped me through every role and every audition and I couldn’t be more grateful for u and I genuinely don’t think I could have gotten this role is it wasn’t for u. Now aside from everything I loved playing 💚HD💚 but I am excited to see what is next for me. This is just the beginning and we shall see where my journey takes me. This is Heather Duke signing out💚✨

Veronica Sawyer- Heathers @fyl_community_theatre

Heathers was a dream come true! I had always dreamed of being a part of this show, and getting to play Veronica Sawyer as a high schooler going into my senior year, made the experience even more special. This role challenged me in so many ways, both mentally and physically, and pushed me to grow as both a performer and a person. I’m so grateful for my incredible scene partners and the entire cast for making every rehearsal and performance unforgettable. A huge thank you to our amazing creative team: our director, @jam6691 , vocal director, @ashelijah09 , choreographer, @ameliawalters8 , and stage manager, @shelby.evenson97 . Thank you for believing in me, guiding me, bringing this production to life, trusting me with Veronica, and mostly, giving me this opportunity. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make this show possible. I’ll always treasure the memories, friendships, and lessons this production gave me. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us! It means more than you know. Veronica Sawyer will always hold a special place in my heart. We can be seventeen💙

What an honor and dream it was to play Sally Bowles in Cabaret beside my wonderful dad, Brandon as the Emcee! Being a part of such a powerful, haunting, and deeply relevant story alongside an incredibly talented cast and crew made this experience so fulfilling. I am beyond grateful and humbled to have gotten to work with everyone who helped bring this magic to life. “Life is a Cabaret” 💋👯‍♀️🥂
