Our final feature film announcement is JUMP SCARE, a blood-soaked, heavy metal horror comedy written and directed by Donnie Hobbie!

When the all-female metal band JUMP SCARE retreats to a remote cabin to write their next album, their creative getaway quickly becomes a fight for survival when they encounter the cannibalistic family living next door.

Blending grindhouse horror, outrageous gore, dark comedy, and a punk rock attitude, @jumpscarethemovie is the debut feature from filmmaker Donnie Hobbie, whose love of music and unconventional horror is at the heart of the film. The film recently took home Best Feature at HorrorHound Film Festival 2026!

Donnie Hobbie will be joining us in person for a Q&A following the screening!

PLAYING ALONGSIDE NEVADA SHORT FILM THE DEVIL IN ME

We're also excited to present the Nevada premiere of THE DEVIL IN ME, directed by Mountains of Madness Festival Director Karl Redgen.

Set in a desolate Nevada desert town, the film follows a stranded drifter who wins an ancient hourglass in a late-night card game, only to discover that the mysterious object carries a violent, soul-hungry curse. As the sand begins to fall, his grip on reality unravels and the hourglass demands an increasingly horrific price.

THE DEVIL IN ME will be screening out of competition. As Festival Director, I wanted the opportunity to share the film on the big screen with the incredible cast and crew who helped bring it to life, along with our friends, families, and the local filmmaking community who have supported us along the way.!

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15 7:30 PM Galaxy Theatres Victorian — Sparks, Nevada

Tickets are $15 and available through @GalaxyTheatresVictorian.
