Last night was a magical evening spent with so many friends. We were all able to spend 6 hours together enjoying a double feature , Wicked and Wicked for Good. Of course, wicked part one was absolutely amazing and wicked for good. Didn’t disappoint as well. The talent in that cast is undeniable! What a blessing it was to be able to share this with so many friends! unprepared to say goodbye to a show that we all loved so dearly. i don’t even really know what to say. we had a beautiful cast and i feel honored to be part of something that filled me with so much joy. thank you to everyone who lifted us up and kept us going this far. my heart hurts for theatre around the world 💗 i love this cast and i cherish the memories and connections we’ve made.
Good bye Heather Mac. you were lost but loving and i hope to meet you again. (ok back to crying lol)

i knew i would eventually be saying goodbye to this show, but in the words of Veronica Sawyer, “not this way.” anyone who knows me knows i have wanted to be in Heathers ever since i was in high school and it was a dream to finally be cast alongside the best cast and crew i could’ve asked for. we never even made it to full run-throughs, but the time i did have in this show and the friends i’ve made because of it was truly worth it. it breaks my heart to know how many people were so excited for this production that will never get to see it. my heart goes out to all the other passionate performers whose art and livelihoods are being stifled because of this pandemic, i encourage you not to let it discourage you because you are not alone. everyone please be safe during this time of uncertainty and suckiness. in the inspiring (and fake) words of Heather Duke, “in times like this, negative people choose to focus on their grief. well I HATE those people because I am a VERY positive person.” 💚💛❤️
