What started off as me trying to find a way of coping with losing my job turned into the best thing that happened to me all year. I started off by going to these games alone/with my bf, eventually I decided to hop back on Twitter for some reason. It was the BEST decision I ever made.

To Destiny, Maddie, KayCee, Krissy, Aloe, Tobias and Liz, you guys welcomed me with open arms into the Nashville Predators community and I will forever be grateful. This post would be very different had I not found friendships in the most random place! You guys are my best friends 💖

Never in a million years did I think I would become a sports fan. This just goes to show that truly anything is possible.

Until next season, thank you and let’s go Preds 💛💙

i’ve been watching hockey and going to games since i was 12, but i never imagined i’d get so deep into a silly little sport (affectionately). i was really into it in high school, but adulting happened, so i missed out on the last few seasons.

however, getting back into it this season was one of the best things i’ve done in a long time. between meeting players, making friends, and getting my friends/family into hockey, it’s truly been the best season i’ve experienced — even if the outcome of the season wasn’t what we had all hoped for.

i quite literally made hockey friends up until the very end of the season. i’m forever grateful for all of them. the memories we made will forever be worth the extra money spent here and there, late nights of hardly sleep before work, and the ups and the downs of greats games versus not so great games.

i love my team endlessly and already can’t wait for next season. thank you to the preds for bringing me close to so many great people. i look forward to next fall :)

until next time smashville 🫶🏻

I wanna make this post just to thank the best team in the NHL for uniting me with these amazing people. If I hadn’t found hockey I wouldn’t have found these lifelong friends. I love y’all and GO PREDS! 🥹💖
