1 full year of you 💛💛💛 • When Rebecca was only a couple weeks old, she would hit the very small milestones such as holding her head up for a little longer, or her first reactive smile. I always said, “and tomorrow she’s going to get up and walk away” I never realized how little time I had before those words turned into my reality. Rebecca, you will always be my little baby and I cannot wait for a lifetime of watching you grow.

dear cheerleading,
i never thought i would make a post about this, let alone this soon. the years i have been doing this sport have by far been the happiest. i have found some of the best people, whether it be my coaches or best friends, and i know they will always be there for me no matter what. to cheer at the gym that i have always dreamt about, top gun has been absolutely surreal. training under THE adrain butler, along with his amazing coaching staff, specifically my coaches, kat, nikko, and alison has been a year that i will never forget. if you told me 8 years ago that i would be walking away from the sport that has kept me going with second place at summit, i would laugh in your face and call you crazy. this sport has given me so many amazing memories that i will never forget. cheerleading gave me confidence, friendships, lessons, and most importantly a second family. through every practice, competition, blood, sweat, tears, wins or losses, this sport has shaped who i am. writing this caption, and letting go of something that has meant so much to me for so long is so incredibly hard. but through it all, i will forever cherish these 8 wonderful years, and this sport will always hold a special place in my heart. thank you cheerleading🤍

Dear Cheer… how lucky I am to miss a sport and team so much I’d give anything to compete one last time. Forever proud to be 4th in state and go out with a bang!! You will always have a special place in my heart!!
