What does mental skills training actually look like? 🧠🏐

A little look inside a Mental Gain team session—from connection and reflection, to learning mental skills and practicing them in a sport-specific context.

Mental skills are something athletes can learn, practice, and develop - just like physical skills

Thank you so much @srva_volleyball for letting me rep team Southern at the USA All Star Championship this past week. It may not of ended the way we wanted it to, but we took down some amazing teams and fought our hardest until the end. Until next year!

What a week!

I had such an amazing and unforgettable experience at USAV All-Star Championships in Columbus, Ohio! Despite the long days of training and battling through many tough 5-set matches against incredible regions, we had such a remarkable finish in the 19U International Gold Division, taking 2nd Place! I’m so honored to have had the opportunity to represent the Southern Region.

Beyond that, I’m so grateful for the people I met along the way. I especially loved getting to compete alongside my teammates, I will definitely miss every one of them!

Thank you, Coach Friddle and Coach Kelly, for the time, effort, and encouragement you poured into us throughout the week. And thank you, @srva_volleyball , for all the memories, friendships, and experiences that made this week truly special and one I’ll never forget! ❤️

What a season! I am truly so grateful for this amazing group of girls! From the beginning to the end we have all shown tremendous growth throughout this whole season! We accomplished our biggest goal of going to Nationals and what an experience it was! I feel incredibly fortunate to be apart of such an amazing team with the most kind, passionate, and supportive coaches! I could’ve have asked for a more positive 17s season! More exciting things to come…

Our Final Fiesta with the 575 LP 13 MiniClub Allstars Shockwave team. They really put shocks into the waves at this “Taco Bout It”Pool party! What a season. ❤️🏐

From the first practice to our last fiesta, this team brought growth, laughter, resilience, and so many memories we’ll never forget. I’m incredibly grateful for every athlete, parent, and moment we shared along the way.

The season may be over, but this is only the beginning of their volleyball journey. I can’t wait to watch these girls continue to grow, chase big goals, and do amazing things both on and off the court.

Once a team, always family. 🌊💙 #Shockwave #GratefulCoach #TheJourneyContinues

I had so much fun at SRVA selection camp these past two days. It was great getting to meet so many new people and getting to see a bunch of familiar faces as well. I learned so much these weekend from my amazing middle coaches and my U19 coaches. I also had the chance to train with some amazing players and I am so grateful I had the chance to share the court with them. Go SRVA!
