UL was the bright light at the end of, what i would call, a very dark tunnel in my life. a light that led me to a new city, school, and cheer program. by taking this leap of faith, i created new friendships, rekindled some old ones, rediscovered my love for the sport, and found the place i’m happy to call home. there is no comparison to the cULture this program has.

thank you for welcoming me with open arms and immediately accepting me as one of your own. i can confidently say that wearing this name across my chest is the ultimate privilege. it was never about the trophy for me when i decided to transfer here, but it was for the family i knew i needed.

@kalyn_voisin and @sf_duff , thank you for trusting me completely, supporting me physically and emotionally, and for pushing me to achieve my full potential. but most importantly, thank you for taking the pieces of my broken self and helping me put them back together. my life has been changed forever by both of you, and i am forever grateful to God for sending you my way.

What a year!

When I was asked to be one of the captains this year, I was so excited but also scared. Becoming a leader for this team was something I had dreamed of since the day I joined. I didn’t know how people would react. I’ve never been the best cheerleader in the room, but I’ve always wanted to make a difference in this program. @ragincajunscheer has given me a place to belong, people to lean on, and something bigger than myself to be part of. I’m proud of what we’ve built and even more proud of the culture that continues to grow here. It’s never been about the trophy. I truly love you guys❤️🌶️

This team. This family.

I am so grateful to have been able to represent the Ragin Cajuns at UCA nationals this past weekend. This team has been nothing but a blessing to be a part of. From start to finish this team has shown the deeper meaning of being an athlete.

Thank you @kalyn_voisin and @sf_duff for pushing us and believing in us. Thank you for taking us in as your family and showing us what unconditional love is.

Being on this cheer team has taught me so much, but this past weekend showed the true meaning of strength, not through words, but through our actions. I am beyond grateful to be part of a team where love, support, and solidarity come so naturally. We are more than teammates; we are family. I am incredibly proud of every single person on this team and thankful for the opportunity to represent our hard work together. Thank you to everyone who made it possible to step onto that mat. I am so happy to call myself a Cajun❤️
