8 years later…..
I never thought this post would come so soon but here I am completing my last competition and topping of my senior season. This year has been filled with ups and downs and I’m so grateful that I had the best people by my side through it.

To my Elevate Dancers, aka my best friends,
Thank you for being such amazing friends but also sisters to me. I’m so lucky to have found a place with such special people that make moving on a hard topic to even think about. There will always be a place in my heart for you guys. Don’t forget I’m not far from home and I’ll always be there!!!

To my teachers,
Thank you for believing in me and helping me grow not only as a dancer, but as a person. Younger me never would have imagined I’d still be dancing and continuing into college.

To my fellow TDE Protégés and Elites,
Thank you for the memories, friendships, and experiences I’ll never forget. And thank you, @michelle2rambo , for giving me this opportunity.

Lastly,
I thank God for giving me a chance to show others my love for what He has done for me. My teacher, Susan, said that I have finally found my “Why” this season. I believe that it was finally letting Jesus Christ into my life and not trying to live by what others wanted but what He wanted of me. With my gift, grace, and admiration I pray that wherever I may go next, my God will be right with me giving me the strength to remember all those who have supported me and to honor those above who are my true motivations.

I will forever love each and every one of you for all that you have done for me. I know that this isn’t the end but it’s the beginning of a new chapter. It may lead to coming back in the adult category or it may be packing up the costumes and glam gear bags. All I know is that I’ve couldn’t have done it without all of you and without Him. Here’s to the next 4 and maybe many more!!

August stats: 1st day of jr year, 2 kidney stones, 2000+ pictures taken, 1 funeral, 673 hugs, 3 new sweet treats baked from scratch, 2 frogs caught, 1 freshly decorated bedroom, 599 times saying “My name is attie, I’ll be taking care of yall today,” a few mirror pics/selfies taken, 28 miles ran, a lot of people I love 🫶🏻
