joining a sorority has been nothing short of a life changing experience for me. looking back im eternally grateful for the people who pushed me through the recruitment process even when i was sure that i wasnt meant for that lifestyle. going through high school, i struggled to find a constant group of individuals who loved me for who i am. becoming a member of greek life, specifically a member of alpha chi omega, i have been shown that there are people in this world who think my authentic self is my best self. the amount of genuine love and support i have felt in just one year, has surpassed any amount of love i ever found in superficial friendships. my sisters have completely altered my view and opinion on myself in the best way, more importantly they have taught me that i dont have to put on an act to be loved or to fit in. i am forever in debt to the girls of alpha chi omega, the girls whom i have the honor to call my sisters and my best friends.
