I’ll be forever grateful to this sport 🥹🫶🏾 I competed in judo for around 10 years before I ever started wrestling.
Some of the things that gave me:
• A style that’s exciting and not easily replicated
• Footsweeps, trips, and throws 😍 enough said 🤌
• Respect, sportsmanship, and discipline at a young age. The culture of judo emphasizes and instills these qualities even moreso than my experience in competitive wrestling. It’s baked into the fabric of the sport - how it’s taught, the ruleset, etc.

Among other things ☺️ Judo can be hard to find in the U.S., but if you can find it throw your kids in the dojo for a couple years! Judo teaches irreplaceable skills, in life and on the mat 🤍

A little later than planned after battling a brutal cold this past week, but I couldn’t let the new year start without reflecting on 2025. It was a year of incredible energy and even better the projects.
