I’m not a photographer…but when your son asks you to take his senior pictures, you figure it out.

I’ve spent years behind the camera taking pictures of him and his baseball teams, so when Brody asked me to do his senior photos, I thought… why not? Let’s do it.

What I didn’t realize was how special it would be.
Most moms don’t get to say they got to share this part of senior year with their son. Just us trying to figure it out….. driving around, finding spots, laughing, fighting, taking pictures and capturing this season of his life.

What an honor it was to be the one behind the camera. And even more of an honor that he wanted me to be. 🥹
Senior year, here we go. ❤️

Dear diary, 😸📖

Today started off pretty great 🌞✨ because I got to spend the morning causing chaos 😹💨 with my big brother, Link 🐱💙. We chased each other, wrestled, and zoomed around the apartment like tiny furry tornadoes 🌪️🐾. Mom says we’re “wild” 🤪. I say we’re athletes 🏅😼.

Then Mom and Dad left for the beach 🏖️🌊. WITHOUT ME. 😾💔

While they were gone, I spent my time staring dramatically into the distance 🌅🥺 and wondering when I’d be reunited with my best friend 🐱💕. Was I counting down the minutes until Link and I could play again? ⏰😸 Maybe. Was I being extra dramatic about it? 🎭🙀 Definitely.

The good news is I got to meet my Aunt Madison! 😻🎉 She loves kittens 🐾💖 and apparently had to use every ounce of self-control not to eat my face 😹🍽️. I appreciate her restraint because I am very attached to my face 😌🐱.

Later, Madison’s roommate and friend came over to visit me too 🥰🏠. They gave me lots of snuggles 🤗🐾, pets 💕, and attention 🌟, which is exactly what I deserve as a growing kitten 🐈✨ and part-time celebrity 🎬😎.

Right now, I’m absolutely exhausted 😴💤 and will be sleeping for the time being… at least until the 1 a.m. zoomies kick in 🌙⚡ and Mom and Dad want to sleep 😹. Then it will be time for another round of kitten athletics 🏃🐾🏅.

10/10 day. 🌟
0/10 for being left behind. 😿
100/10 for the snuggles. 🤗💖

🐾 Love,
Billy 😸💕
