Madison joined the Commonplace team this summer, and she immediately blew us away with her knowledge of our Littles section! She has inspired kiddos and their parents each week with her story times @theharveybakery and at Commonplace! Madison plans to continue to be an integral part of Commonplace when on school breaks (watch for some special holiday story times this December), but right now she is preparing her classroom in Moore for her very first year of teaching! If you know anything about 2nd grade, you know how important a classroom library is going to be! Help us support Madison as she prepares for an amazing 2024/2025 school year!!!!!!!

Maddie’s wedding day was easily one of my favorite days. Here’s her make up from her bridal preview to her wedding day! What changed?

🩷 Maddie went HARD on her skincare routine, and it shows! When your skin is properly prepped, your makeup will last even longer, and let me tell you her’s sure did. I even stayed for touchups, and she needed the most minimal touchups throughout the day.

🩷 We decided to go fluffier on her eyebrows. We both agreed it was really the most flattering on her.

🩷I tweaked her lipstick tone after seeing her bouquet in person. When we look at your bouquet colors at your trial, the phone never gives off the true tone of your bouquet. That’s why some times, when I see you bouquet in person, I mention to you how these slight changes would help your overall look.

🩷 I added a little more pink into her blush and lips on the wedding day, and it truly compliments her so well.

Maddie, I love you, I just loved being a part of your day, and the sweet friendship we formed 💕

I’ve had the honor of making several dear friends’ wedding bouquets in the past and each time it’s just as special 🥹 loved getting to flower for Maddie and Lane yesterday. Maddie is such a beam of light and one of the smartest, kindest and most patient people I know. She loves color and music and is always one to make others smile! she has a heart for serving people and is such an inspiration 💜 so happy for the Smiths!!!

She is going back to the second grade as a TEACHER!!
