2025 was a great year.
It took me around the world — from Orlando to Johannesburg — celebrating my birthday with my favorite girl cousins, catching Clippers games, and donating @kavataswim to @surfersnotstreetchildren Catching waves in the middle@of Texas in Waco!

Hanging out with childhood friends, traveled globally with my social media manager, and crossed paths with TSU family like it was meant to happen. I volunteered with the Black Surfers Collective, watched my little cousin graduate high school, and met the GOAT of surfing @kellyslater .

I sat on panels, surprised @julian.williams_ with a wild card at the U.S. Open of Surfing, and continued carrying my sister’s legacy forward through @lfcharities My family came in from out of town to support my 4th annual @agreatdayinthestoke where I hosted surfers from Senegal, Canada, and Hawaii.

From Maui to Chicago nights with Wu-Tang Clan, from the Austrian Alps to Paris — continuing my French journey — this year was about family, purpose, and momentum.

Grateful. Grounded. Still hungry.
The Chocolate Tide is Rising. 🌍

And just like that… we closed one of the biggest chapters of our lives.

My baby girl graduated high school 🎓. The last one.
The late nights, the pep talks, the prayers, the school drop-offs, the “Mom, can you sign this?”…
We did it.

I raised a young woman who’s now ready to walk boldly into her next chapter—and as for me? I’m stepping into mine too.

I’ve spent the last 18+ years giving my all as a mother. And while that never ends, this new season feels different. The nest is empty… but my spirit is full.

I’m proud. I’m grateful. I’m evolving.
Now, it’s her turn to fly—and my time to rise even higher. 💫
