Simple shapes. That’s what draws me in. For me, even the most basic shapes can capture the feeling of dance. I don’t think every photograph needs to scream “dance shot” to show movement or emotion.

I like to break things down. Strip away anything that feels extra. That means keeping my lighting simple, avoiding flashy edits, sometimes even skipping color altogether.

If you know my photos, you know what to expect. Clean. Uncomplicated. No glitz. No glamour.

Honestly, my work isn’t flashy. It’s not designed to make people say “wow.” I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and you probably won’t see it trending all over social media.

- I’m not chasing a huge following.
- I’m not after fame or money.
- I don’t try to please the crowd.

I just follow what feels right to me. The older I get, the more I value honesty in my art. Life’s too short to pretend to be someone else.

All I really want is for my photos to honor the dancer and the art of dance. I want them to have substance and feeling. Maybe, just maybe, my work makes someone smile or brings a little meaning to their day—even if just for a moment.

That’s enough for me.
