and then it was all over :(

i’ve been putting off this post because i just didn’t want to come to realization that this season is really ending. but now it all becomes memories and lessons that we all can learn from. this season i’ve cried, been mad at myself, not proud of myself, and didn’t treat myself well. but i also stayed strong for my team, danced my very best i could, and ended the season so proud of myself. this season i learned that dancing for YOURSELF is all that matters. i told myself time and time again, on and off that stage that, “it’s just you out there. it’s your solo and it’s your time to take that stage and make it your own. look like a piece of art out there.” my biggest goal for these last 2 comps were to come off that stage and be PROUD of myself. and i was. and i would say that was the biggest win. 💝

•all wins and losses aside, i want to thank my teammates. you guys never gave up on me. even when i was mentally hurting, even when i maybe was a little mean to you guys 😂, and even when my mood was down, you guys never gave up on me. we all worked together so much this season and our chemistry grew even stronger. i will forever look back on this season and always be proud of the work we put into everything that led up to these moments. i love you guys so, so much. 🥹

•and to my teachers, thank you. you guys pushed me. you taught me new things. and you supported me through everything i did this season. the support system from this studio is insane and that is the thing i value the most. thank you guys for supporting me through my dreams and prepping me for these moments. i love you guys with all of my heart. 🩷

this weekend was pretty close to perfect.

i love this team so much beyond words can describe. this competition was quite literally the best yet. leaving with 5 1st overalls, my solo placing 4th, 3 sda champion awards, and so many more really shows what kind of a team we are. not only the wins but showing how we support each other in the thing we love most, and that would be dance.

i’m so thankful for my teammates who are like family to me.

I don’t even know where to start… this has lived in my heart for a long time, and it still feels a little unreal to finally say it out loud 🤍

I’m so excited to officially share our cheer gym with you. What started as a “one day” kind of conversation turned into something I couldn’t ignore anymore
and once we decided to go for it, we went all in… full throttle 😉

More than anything, I wanted to create a space that feels different. A place close to home where kids can walk in, work hard, feel safe, feel confident, and truly be themselves. A place where relationships matter just as much as the skills being built.

Starting this June we’ll be offering youth competition teams, senior & junior elite teams, private lessons, and tumbling classes and I genuinely cannot wait to get in the gym and start building something special.

I get to do this with someone who matches my vision, my drive, and my heart, and that part means everything to me.

This is just the beginning… and I already know it’s going to be something really, really special 🩷

Madison, these kids, & this sport have truly become my purpose.
June cannot come soon enough✨

Seniors, thank you for all of the commitment you have put into this team. you guys make this team a team. i’m so luck to have you guys as my role model my first 2 years of high school. Wow. I truly don’t have words for how this season went. I mean I went from transferring to a new school, to getting second at NATIONALS, and becoming a x3 STATE CHAMP. All of my dreams have came true all because of this team! My coaches Mal and Madison I don’t know what I would do without you guys. You guys aren’t just coaches but moms when we need you the most. You’ve pushed me to my limits and made my dreams come true. Before transferring I could’ve never seen my life get like this. But my coaches and teammates have helped in the best ways and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I can’t believe next season will be my last… thank you to the seniors for everything you’ve helped me with. You guys are such amazing people and will be missed💕 thank you trucker cheerleading 🤍🤍
