STOP USING AI FLYERS pt.2

We’ve got even more incredibly talented designers to share AND we now have an accompanying spreadsheet database that you can find in the @bestdressedghost linktree! We will continue adding and updating the link as we receive submissions.

Most, if not all, of these designers do so much more than flyers. Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for merch, album artwork, or any other design work as well.

Please feel free to continue sharing these resources with local business, bands, venues, promoters, etc. We want to make it super easy for folks to be able to have a real artist make their flyers without the use of generative AI. With prices as low as $15 and turnaround times as quick as 1 day, what possible excuse could anyone have to use AI instead?!?

Happy two year anniversary of the “Another Deadbeat Summer” album! We reimagined our 2018 and 2022 EPs along with Wicked Cool Records and it has been a wild journey! Make sure to turn the album up nice and loud today, order your Vinyl / CD copy, and we will be seeing you soon - with new music!

Thanks to the team that made this happen!

Since 2018, the @apbeachbadgefund has helped provide beach access to locals who may not be able to afford a badge, helping reduce unsafe, unguarded swimming during the summer season.

This weekend, a benefit concert at @asburylanes will raise money to help provide more badges for local residents this summer, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the fund.

Learn more about the fund and how you can get involved at the link in our bio.

✍️:@jessnort

Jersey Shore artists to hire (instead of using AI slop) 🎨

AI-generated art is (unfortunately) everywhere right now. Lucky for us, the Jersey Shore is FULL of talented people making original work, from murals and photography to websites, illustrations, and hand-drawn designs (that can’t be replicated with a ChatGPT prompt).

We’ve rounded up a few local artists and creatives worth following, supporting, and hiring for your next project.

See the full list at the link in our bio.

Know of an artist to add to this list? Please let us know by emailing jerseyshore@thelocalgirl.com and we will add in ASAP!

Tickets are officially live.
@mutedpink and I have been working behind the scenes to make this show something truly special. We really wanted to create a space to come together and celebrate Juneteenth and Pride honoring freedom, culture, and our community the best way we know how.
We’re so lucky to have our resident besties @virginia.cavaliere and @oceanavenuestompers joining us with live performances. This cast is honestly just 👀👀👀
GA and VIP tickets are available now at the link in our bio.
