What a busy September! 🚜

September was a jam packed month full of all kinds of events and fun!

We started off with a chapter visit to Shelby County, where we met some amazing new members and taught them about the opportunities available through FFA. Thank you to @farmcreditmid for helping make chapter visits possible!

Next up was a visit to my home chapter, Taylor County! We joined them for their Freshmen Leadership Conference, where we met lots of first year members and taught them valuable leadership skills to carry into the upcoming year.

Then came Rising Sun! It was an absolute blast meeting so many leaders from across the state and having an awesome time, whether it was through workshops, kickball, or even choreograph! (Thanks Carolina!)

Next was the Pulaski County Fall Picnic, where I got to enjoy some delicious food, play several games (including egg toss, which I lost 🍳), and even watch a chicken chase!

Then came the Lake Cumberland Regional Freshmen Leadership Conference, where I got to meet some of the future leaders of the LCR! I was joined by two Green County FFA officers as we taught members the importance of networking beyond their own chapters.

After that came a busy week during All in for Ag Ed Week! We kicked things off in Harlan County by teaching the “Four Quarters of FFA,” headed to the Fayette County Middle School Leadership Conference to encourage students to “PAUSE,” and visited Gallatin County for their Ag Safety Fair, where I even got to ride HIGH up in a bucket truck! We also read to students at Pendleton Elementary about agriculture before wrapping up the week by reading agricultural books to students at Taylor County Primary and showing off some tractors!

To wrap up this crazy month, I joined Taylor County once again for their Food for America program, where we taught students across the county about the importance of agriculture and knowing where their food comes from.

While September was one crazy month, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!

Wow, what the time we had Kentucky FFA! From the wonderful workshops, silent disco, kickball games, and many more eventful activities over that weekend! I hope you had as much fun as my team did! Rising sun was such a learning experience for us all! Thank you! #kyffa #kyffaltc #risingsun

Rising S☀️n!

What an awesome weekend spent with so many great chapter leaders across our state! From learning choreograph, giving workshops with the one and only @lilygraceporter, reffing kickball with @bivenscyrus, getting to spend time with the Lake Cumberland Region, and meeting so many amazing members from across the state. This is definitely a rising sun to remember!

Kentucky FFA, we are ALL in this TOGETHER!

we’re all in this together!

rising sun has always been one of my top events, but the 2026 conference is without a doubt my favorite yet. from incredible leaders who were excited to “shoot their shot” (per haylee tucker), to genuine reflections on what it takes to have humility with your title, and a choreographed dance routine made at 3 am, RSC felt like running into a warm hug.

hopefully, between the SO trivia tackles and switching channels to play rio on the silent disco headphones, kentucky ffa members were reminded of the most important things:

number 1- everyone retires their jacket (or jersey!) but you never retire the memories made in it

number 2- your position is a tool to change someone else’s life, not a trophy to keep on your own shelf

and finally, number 3- all you can do is leave it all on the court

thankful beyond belief for these 19 hours!

Rising Sun Conference was one for the books! ☀️

Getting to host workshops, connect with FFA members, and watch these leaders grow throughout the weekend was such a rewarding experience. I know these students will make such an impact in their chapters and communities this year! I also got to unlock my potential as a silent disco DJ!🪩😎

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this conference happen. It truly takes all of us working together to create experiences like this.

We’re all in this together, Kentucky FFA! 🏀🎤

such a fulfilling weekend spend at my favorite place!!

What a blessing it was to connect with members from across the state, facilitate workshops with @lillianboone17 , dance my heart out at the silent disco, cheer on the purple group, spend time with the talented members from the Purchase Region, and hug on so many people I love. Rising Sun Conference will always hold a special place in my heart🫶

Thank you to @farmcreditmid for sponsoring State Officer travel. Together, we are growing leaders across Kentucky!

Rising Sun 2026 ☀️

Kentucky FFA we are all in this together. Throughout the two days we were at camp I had the privilege of getting to help lead workshops, discussion advocacy with members, and reflect on week with the fellow members of my region. I’m so grateful I finally had the chance to attend this conference and help make it possible.

Special thanks to @goode.mollie for helping us throughout the conference and taking these pictures throughout.

What a weekend at Rising Sun! ☀️

This weekend, we got to help leaders of Kentucky FFA grow so they can take what they learned back home and share it with their chapters and communities. With an HSM theme, we got to embrace the music, make memories, step outside of our comfort zones, and most importantly, connect with members from across Kentucky! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to connect with our members and to help them grow! 🌱

We put on the jerseys to show up for our members, to grow alongside them, and to make a difference! 🏀🎶

Kentucky FFA, why do you wear the jacket? 💛💙
