Two Tritão bikes built for our local customers from Lisbon, Portugal. A lot of this design is about surviving stress and load cases, in the real world and on the testing jig.

Another big part is designing for the production process. Then some function, some tolerance fits for the bearings.

Tritão Aveiro Custom — made for our German customer who wanted to combine our long and low Aveiro bike with a lot of tire clearance and @pinion.eu C1.12i Smart.Shift gearbox with some @gates.bicycle Carbon Belt Drive. The battery is placed in the downtube, the charging port is in the Pinion bridge. Nice and clean. Nothing sticking out. The bike is shown with skinny tires but will take up to 57 or even 60mm. Ja!! #madeinportugal

Un pequeño detalle que marca una gran diferencia.

En este proyecto hemos modificado la mariposa de admisión de un Toyota HDJ100 con un objetivo muy claro: mejorar el flujo de aire y facilitar el montaje de un intercooler frontal de grandes dimensiones, sin renunciar a la funcionalidad original del sistema.

La modificación permite obtener un paso de 2,5”, reubicando la mariposa directamente sobre el colector de admisión y orientándola hacia el frontal del vehículo. De esta forma se consigue una instalación mucho más limpia y eficiente, dejando el espacio necesario para instalar un intercooler frontal sobredimensionado.

Mantener la mariposa de admisión es fundamental, ya que conserva la parada suave del motor, evitando el característico apagado brusco de estos motores diésel. Además, se mantiene el correcto funcionamiento del sistema original, evitando la aparición del fallo de motor que suele producirse al eliminar la mariposa y que tantos problemas genera en este tipo de preparaciones.

Para hacerlo posible, se ha diseñado y fabricado un codo específico mediante impresión 3D en aluminio, un trabajo realizado por @madit.metal , combinando ingeniería, precisión y tecnología de fabricación avanzada.

El conjunto se completa con una soldadura de alta precisión, realizada por Maikel, de @soldadurasua , cuyo trabajo garantiza un acabado impecable, una resistencia excepcional y la máxima fiabilidad.

Cada detalle de esta modificación ha sido diseñado para ofrecer una solución técnica de alto nivel, manteniendo la fiabilidad del vehículo y mejorando tanto el rendimiento como la integración de los componentes.

Light 3D printed parts; rack and fender mounts. Full cable integration with Deda DCR system and Sram Force 13 speed drivetrain. Only 8.5 kgs. Loving this one!
