Big thanks to everyone who came to watch Broken Pieces at @thenorthfilmfest Especially being it was an early 10:30am screening on a Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised a decent amount showed up. The 3 short films shown beforehand were also great! And it was fantastic seeing people I met in Barcelona at the Love and Hope film fest. Also thanks for the nominations at The North Film Fest Best Feature Best Director Feature Film Best Actress Feature Film - Diana Salina So yeah the festival run for Broken Pieces was wrapped up and this was a last minute thing so very grateful for the fest squeezing Broken Pieces in. And now I think that’s that, next up is distribution. But then again who knows maybe it’ll screen somewhere again, maybe not. Big thanks: @cinephone_fest Best Feature @manhattanfilmfestival Best Romantic Feature @mysticfilmfest Best Director @beliff_filmfest Best Script @indigomoonfilmfest Best Feature @iffmnyc_luispedron Best Feature @ficocc.fest Best Romance Feature & Cinematography @fabriqueducinema Best INTL Feature @alwayslatetv Sylvie Pratt Best Actress in a Feature Film @allentownfilmfestival Best Narrative Feature Film @nytvff Best Actress Sylvie Pratt @Mobilefilmsd Best Feature Film @queensfilmfestival Best Narrative Feature Film #indiefilmmaking #indiefilm #filmmaking #independentfilm #shotoniphone

Got to see my favorite musicians in concert last weekend 😄 Absolutely the best night ever. I dragged my friends 7 hours to CO Springs and would happily do so again 😂 I met the moon man himself I even met Joan Darwin!!! Coolest thing ever: I got Moon Walker and his partner (the incredibly talented filmmaker, Madison McConnell)'s signatures! 😅😂 In the weeks leading up to the concert, I kept making the joke that I'd fight a non-binary 16 year old to get to the front if I had to. Luckily, it did not come to that. One of the opening bands, Super Cassette, absolutely rocked it, and they are now permanently part of my playlists. The other opening band, Pretoria, was soooooo good and is also now a permanent fixture in my playlists.

Got the autograph from the talented @madleeproductions to add to one of the collages I put together for the Monopoly Money music video props. I mean, she made the signs and music video so it felt right to do.

Big thanks to @thenorthfilmfest for one final festival screening of Broken Pieces. Ticket link in profile. Nominated for: Best Feature Best Director – Feature Film Best Actress – Feature Film @dianasalina I honestly thought the festival run for Broken Pieces was already finished, but since this fest is run by the same people behind the Barcelona screening, I figured why not submit one last time. Yes, 10:30am on a Thursday is definitely an early screening time haha, but regardless it’ll still be nice seeing the film on a big screen one more time. I’m also looking forward to meeting and talking with the other filmmakers. If anyone in NYC is able to swing by, that’d be awesome. Totally understand it’s an early one though haha. Screening order: Feliz Fall, Witches! – Dir. Lorena Monagas – 2 min – USA Love is Stronger Than Hate – Dir. Yoey Garfield – 10 min – USA Broken Pieces – Dir. Justin Ho – 1 hr 22 min – USA #thenorthfilmfestnyc #thenorthfilmfest
