2025 was definitely one of those “if only little Mia could see me now” years. It was busy, gratifying & full of love love love. The year started with a few Colorado trips where I was able to hike, see my little sister graduate, and successfully make a girls trip in Palisade happen. Killian, Jess & I got to meet up in Nashville, where we indulged, shopped & our filmmaking career ended just as quickly as it began 🚂 I moved to Chicago and on top of all the good things that have come from this move, I can walk anywhere my heart pleases. I walk to get groceries, to the gym, to see friends…you name it. Of all the things I’ve ever wished for, this is one I still wake up grateful for every single day. I got to have SO MANY loved ones visit the city - and took the architecture boat tour 3 times in one summer. A record maybe??? I was able to travel alongside my honey and see him do his thang all over the country, but his birthday set last week at @queen.chicago goes down as my favorite of the year. All throughout this year there was so much dancing & grooving, and I can confirm that nobody does House music like Chicago does. This year would not have been the same without Madeleine, who added so much color and friendship to my life and was also the first person I ever had a joint bday celebration with 🦁 There was so much good & so much growth this year! I’m really looking forward to continuing to put down roots in 2026 & soaking up more of what life has to offer me. ❤️
