No because the way girls join for “cute senior pics” and accidentally leave with a whole friend group 🤍

Like suddenly it’s:
“wait send me that pic”
“what are we wearing”
“OMG POST THAT ONE”
late night convos
beach trips
group chats blowing up 24/7 ✨

And somehow the photos become the smallest part of it all. This experience hits different.

Only 5 days left to apply for the Shreveport KVP Spokesmodel Team!!!

Dear Shreve Softball
I can’t express how grateful I am that I was able to be a part of this team for my senior year. Despite only playing one year, these girls have made it not only memorable, but have reassured me every time I thought I wasn’t doing enough for the team that I was enough.

To mom, dad, and anyone else I consider family thank you for supporting me in this journey and always being there. Having people in my corner every game is truly a blessing. To be by my side and listen to any and everything I have to say can be a lot so thank you! I love you!

To my teammates thank you for making me feel like a part of this team. The practices, early tournament mornings, and Cicis was some of the most fun I’ve had playing a sport. For me to come in for y’all’s last year and be treated with nothing less than love and acceptance has meant so much to me. Thank you for working with me and being patient with me as I was re-learning how to play.

Coach Fant and coach lindsey to have the amount of faith y’all had in me truly pushed me to better myself. Thank you for always being there for me when I needed extra reps and a simple pep talk to make me feel better.

To Erin, I’ve been with you since freshman year, but this year has been the most special. From helping you take care of others to you taking care of me I could never imagine my Shreve journey without you. You’re amazing.

My time as Lady Gator is coming to a close so I want to leave the next group of girls with some advice: nothing is harder than what you tell yourself. Having difficult practices builds strength and character, but being hard on yourself prevents growth. Treat yourselt, not with pride, but with love and encouragement.
I would just like to say I couldn’t be happier ending this journey with this amazing group of girls. Thank you Shreve softball.

Dear Shreve Softball 💌🐊

Thank you for the past 4 years of growth, lessons, and fun. I couldn’t imagine playing anywhere else during my high school career, and I know I wouldn’t be the athlete or person I am today without you.

I would not be able to do any of this without God. The Lord has guided me in more ways than one, and I know that he is always with me wherever I go, even on the mound. He has used softball to connect me to others, teach me humility, and most of all, to trust him and his plan.

To my family, thank you for always showing up for me no matter what. You always push me to be my best on and off the field. I know you are sad my time as a Gator is approaching its end, but now you get to look forward to what the future has in store for me as a Bulldog!

To my teammates, thank you for teaching me true sisterhood. We have been through so much together. From the late practices, to Cici’s trips, to early mornings before tournaments, to district play, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

To Coach Fant, Coach Lindsay, and Coach Hughes, thank you for trusting me on the mound and in the line up. I have learned so many valuable lessons under your guidance, and I am so thankful to know each of you. You have helped me grow my love for the game.

To Erin and Emorie, thank you for being the best athletic trainer and PT in the universe. Your touch is magic, and you always know how to get me through the season. I can’t thank you both enough for all that you do for me!

With a heart full of gratitude and so many unforgettable memories, I’ll always cherish my time as a Lady Gator. How blessed am I to have something that makes saying “goodbye” so hard. Thank you Shreve softball for being more than just a team; thank you for being a family.
