If I could give one piece of advice to up and coming Seniors, don’t sleep on June for your Senior session. July and August are 🥵☀️ HOT.
June days in general are mild and gorgeous, evenings are even better.

A little BTS from Maddy’s Senior session last week!

Just like that my Delano cheer career is over.

Saying goodbye to something that’s been such a big part of my life is harder than I ever imagined. Delano Cheer, thank you for the memories, the lessons, the laughter, the tears, and the growth. Cheer has shaped me into the person I am today, and I’ll forever be grateful for every practice and every game day.

To Coach Chey and Coach Holly—thank you for believing in me, pushing me when I didn’t think I could go any further, and always supporting me both on and off the track. Your guidance, patience, and dedication never went unnoticed, and I will carry everything you taught me far beyond cheer.

To this team, thank you for becoming my second family. The bonds we’ve built and the memories we’ve made will stay with me forever. I’m so proud of every single one of you and so thankful I got to share this journey with such an incredible group of people.

And to my fellow senior, Luzi—thank you for being by my side through it all. I’m so grateful we got to finish this chapter together.

And the girls I’ve met outside of the Delano cheer family. Thank you for showing up at the end of your own game to talk. Or even making the 30 minute drive to sit in the cold and watch us cheer when you didn’t have a game of your own.

As hard as it is to say goodbye, I wouldn’t change a single moment. Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader 🧡🖤📣

Congratulations to our TWO cheerleaders of the game, Maddy and Lilly H! These two know how to keep the team and crowd positive. You can watch them show off their hard work next at Zimmerman.
