Chanticleers 2026

I wasn’t nervous for a single performance of Parade, but being on stage as just Gia makes me shake like a leaf. I’m still in shock over this award and I’m never the best with words but i’m so emotional over this season. Lucille gave me strength and confidence. Parade gave me friendships I have been searching my entire life for. Rent fulfilled a young performer dream. Ivy reignited a part of me id forgotten. And Weathervane gives me a place to be authentically myself and feel loved even on my worst days.

I perform because it’s the one thing that has always brought me light in the darkness. On stage everything else feels miles away and I feel alive.

Now I have many things that bring me light, and that is all of the people I have met through this community. I can’t express how much thank you will never be enough for every opportunity I get to be apart of weathervanes story. This place is so special to so many people.

I am grateful for every single minute. I hear there’s 525,600 in a year?

Parade - Summer 2026

I am so grateful to have been cast in this show and to get to be a factory girl and to understudy Iola. This show is such an incredible story that does not allow us to shy away from the harsh realities of this country’s history.

Thank you to Josh, Alicia, and Ozzie for creating an environment that allowed me to be able to digest and discuss the material in a safe way. Thank you also to the entire cast and crew! You all are amazing and brought this show to life in such a beautiful way!

alright fine parade post time(im not tagging everyone sorry!)

prior to rehearsals beginning, i was in a rough state mentally, and wanted to just shut myself in all summer.

parade changed that. i have never been more grateful for an entire cast of people in so long, to show me that i truly love what I do, and that I need to keep being myself no matter what:)

from silly dances, to whyola, to all the inside jokes we made to cope with the material of this show, i’ll always remember parade as one of the happiest points of my life as an actor

a love letter to the parade cast & crew.

Getting to be a part of this show was both an honor and a privilege, and I didn’t even know it would be when I signed on. Getting to be backstage every night, seeing some of the most immensely talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting just absolutely crush it on the stage all fifteen nights, you truly reminded me of why I do this.

Parade changed me in so many ways. I found myself dressing in outfits I barely touch in my closet just because the group chat said let’s do it. I put an ungodly amount of time inside and out of the theatre just to give the cast line notes. I cried, cried, and cried a little more to a different part of the musical each and every night for one reason or another.

I’m forever grateful for my Parade family. You all deserve any praise coming your way for the masterpiece of a show you put on.
