10 years ago today i was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

my life has been forever changed. each day is different and each day is hard. some days i feel like giving up, i question why me. but on days like today, i am grateful. i am grateful for the technology that allows me to live a normal life. i am grateful for the amazing community i would otherwise never know. type 1 has taught me how to be resilient and push through when it feels impossible. type 1 has given me a purpose and today i am grateful for it.
