🐟 Why is salmon one of the best foods for injury recovery?

When you’re injured, your brain immediately begins coordinating the healing process through your nervous system. The quality of that communication—and your body’s ability to repair tissue—depends in part on having the right nutrients.

Salmon is one of the best recovery foods because it’s packed with omega-3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) and high-quality protein.

🧠 DHA supports healthy nerve cell membranes, helping your brain and nervous system communicate more efficiently.

🔥 EPA helps your body regulate inflammation. Inflammation is essential for healing, but when it remains elevated for too long, it can slow recovery and keep your pain system more sensitive.

💪 Salmon also provides complete protein with all the essential amino acids your body needs to repair damaged muscle tissue and support recovery.

Healing isn’t just about the injured body part—it’s about supporting the system that controls recovery.

Feed the brain. Support the nervous system. Heal the body.

Save this post for your recovery journey and share it with someone who’s healing from an injury.

💪🧠 REST IS WHERE THE GROWTH HAPPENS ✝️

Most people think strength is built during the workout, but neuroscience tells us something different: growth actually happens during recovery.

When you train, you place stress on your muscles and nervous system. During rest, your body repairs, rebuilds, and becomes stronger than before. Without recovery, there is no sustainable growth.

The same is true spiritually.

God never designed us to live in a constant state of striving. Scripture teaches that those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is trust God, be still, and allow Him to restore what life has exhausted.

Just as your body needs recovery to grow stronger, your spirit needs God’s presence to be renewed.

Train hard. Rest well. Trust God.

“Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31

This year has been about mad a lot of highs and lows so here’s some of the main things I’m happy I did

-Lived in Mexico for 3 months

-Met Yazzmine

-Went to Spain with the lads and go called a c00n 🙃

-Did a calesthenics Beach workout in Spain and incorporated it in to my routine going back to training 5 days a week again

-Started hyrox (not because I want to do an event but because I actually found some cardio I like)

-Grew my beard out

-Actually did a bulk (I swear I’m always cutting)

-Watched One piece the 2nd greatest anime in the world

-Spent a lot of time with my dad (feel like I’ve made up for not seeing him as much in lockdown) love my dad

-Got back to my favourite lifts SBD after a lot of time off

-Played my guitar a lot more and actually wrote some decent sounding stuff

-Helped even more people transform there physique and lives

-Discovered that I actually detest alcohol and will becoming conservatively from now on

-Turned 30

-relearned and massively unproved my Spanish
