UW dorm move-in: COMPLETE. 🥹 I’m overwhelmed by pride and excitement for this remarkable girl. She worked hard, stretched, and made a life-long dream happen. I can’t wait for her to embrace what’s next - the intellectual awakenings (and mild panic of due dates), annoying early alarms and exhilarating late nights, new friends and experiences and living spaces and freedoms, and all the beautifully mundane days of simply existing as a college student. I don’t love becoming an empty nester - but I’m grateful every second for the kids we raised. Such gorgeous, good, authentic humans. Here’s to the next era! 💜💛

Grazie mille, bellissima Italia! 🇮🇹 20 slides is about 60 short of all the pics I took and the memories we made. Rome, Pompei, Florence. The Forum, Colosseum, Vatican, Ponte Vecchio, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, David, Piazzale Michelangelo. Cacio e pepe, Napoli pizza, prosciutto e melane, carciofi fritti, stracciatella gelato, and truly the best sandwiches all day, every city, everywhere (train station? Perfetto!) So. Many. Spritzes. Torrential downpours and sweaty sightseeing and unbelievable sunsets. Our little life is about to undergo some massive shifts - grateful beyond words for this experience together. 🤍
