Foreign assistance is under unprecedented threat. 90% of foreign assistance programs were terminated by the Administration last week, including malaria-fighting programs like PMI. Your Members of Congress need to hear that you care about these programs now.

Congress needs to step up and work with the Administration to reinstate programs that save lives around the world and make America safer, stronger and more prosperous. Please sign our petition today and share with friends, family members and colleagues.

Have you watched any of the Emmy winning shows yet? We’ll get to those soon, but for now: more re-runs! Like this 2009 episode of @uglybettytv that highlights our campaign (formerly known as ‘Nothing But Nets’).

The title character Betty Suarez comes up with the clever idea to turn mosquito nets into a fashion statement and organizes a photo shoot at the UN. In doing so, she helps to spread the buzz about malaria and the importance of insecticide-treated bed nets! The show marked the first time a sitcom has ever been filmed at the UN.

“Refugees are living only by hope, every single day.” — Sifa Ndusha, Clinical Research Professional.

Sifa spent nearly four years in a refugee camp in Uganda with her kids, where the threat of diseases followed them every day.

Children everywhere deserve to be safe and healthy from preventable diseases like measles and malaria. Together, we can help provide lifesaving treatment and tools to strengthen health systems.
