We hosted a smoky, whimsical night, the Shalimar Room, at the Memoire de l'Avenir last week. Our guests told us about which fictional characters they would want to be, wore these names on their torsos, and chatted with each other about their likes and dislikes, fictions and non-fictions...in between sipping specialty cocktails and listening to the ethereal sounds of Piyush Wadhera. Thank you for coming and supporting the efforts of the Brief Shalimar and the Memoire de l'Avenir! Thank you to @debstreetfood and @mahuaspirit for sponsoring the soirée, and @sagaarvb and @kori.rottie for supporting on the production. @memoiredelavenir @piyushwadhera @iamshagird

What an unforgettable day!

Less than a month ago, we had the incredible honor of launching the 40th anniversary of PAF with a beautiful ceremony at the Royal Palace. It was a morning filled with inspiration as we welcomed members of the Royal Family and over 300 PAF alumni. Heartfelt conversations, powerful messages, and the graceful touch of our host and the talented musicians made the day truly magical.

A special thank you to everyone who has contributed to PAF’s success over the years. Here’s to many more decades of empowering talent and creating opportunities that make a real difference!

PS: know anyone interested in applying for the next PAF selection? Share the link to our info session on November 18th: https://fienta.com/paf-infosession2024

Images from the first edition of Brief Shalimar on October 5.

Coined after Lahore's Shalimar Gardens, which were laid out as a Persian paradise garden intended to create an earthly representation of paradise, the Brief Shalimar is an artist-run, experimental salon that creates an ephemeral utopia through collective, multisensory experiences.
