If there’s one creator who can make us rethink our wardrobes and our travel plans in the same scroll, it’s Mae Rutten (@maerutten). She has a weakness for anything sparkly, a wardrobe we’d happily raid, and an Instagram feed that has us mentally packing our bags for a vacation we haven’t even booked yet. (We can dream, right?) 🌴✨ For Mae, though, there’s more to life than what makes it onto Instagram. Having once felt pressure from knowing so many people were following her journey, she’s become more comfortable showing the parts that aren’t quite so picture-perfect. “I’ll always love my aesthetics, but I feel like authenticity is so important,” she tells us. “I want to show all of the highs and the lows, and I hope that inspires people more than just seeing the curated side of my life.” For our latest interview, we caught up with Mae to talk about finding her personal style, the accessories she refuses to leave home without, and her big dream of launching an activewear brand. Read the full conversation at the link in bio. 💌🔗
