I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be heading to @speed_rack Denver with one goal in mind: bringing the title back home to Kansas City!

So, what exactly is Speed Rack? It’s an electrifying, all-female bartending competition that shines a spotlight on the skills and speed of female bartenders worldwide. Beyond showcasing talent, the competition also raises funds for breast cancer research.

Having competed in Speed Rack San Francisco, I’m honored to represent the Midwest once again. What makes this competition truly special to me is the way the hospitality community rallies around contestants, providing training and support. I was fortunate to experience this love and encouragement in San Francisco, and I’m eager to pay it forward by sharing insights and knowledge with future participants and anyone curious about the inner workings of Speed Rack.

I invite bar managers, owners, and bartenders to engage with me, ask questions, witness my practice sessions, and perhaps even train your own formidable female staff for next year’s competition. I’m committed to sharing any resources I have gleaned from my experiences, all while striving to reclaim the title for Kansas City. But I can’t do it alone,I need YOUR help in practice sessions.

You’ll find me honing my skills mostly at @fernbarkc, but I’m open to practicing at other local bars to engage the community further. It’s a crucial step toward putting KC hospitality on the map for the collaborative effort we embody. If you’re interested in hosting a practice round or want to know my schedule at Fern, don’t hesitate to DM me. Here’s to raising a glass together and making Kansas City proud! Cheers! 🥂
