Teachers🍎
Today a group of staff came to the Refuge House for a personal development day. What a great idea to build your team and fill yourself up. The next 9 months (and some) you will spend pouring into your students, remember to take care of yourself as well.
The house is open all school year 😉 🍎

“Head Over Heels” for these girlfriends who rallied to see a GoGo’s musical for my birthday. We had no idea what we were in for…but we’ve decided we still got the beat! It’s SO much more bearable getting older with the girls you met in kindergarten and junior high. Happy birthday to my fellow Sag, Annie, who remembers sharing a birthday party with me at Pizza Hut when we were little…so glad we could do it again 40 something years later…with tapas! 💜❤️ you Glendale/Hoover Ladies! Thank you! Missed ya @saraemmaj

When you feed others you are feeding Christ.

1. Matthew 25:34-40 “Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, my Father has blessed you! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home. I needed clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then the people who have God’s approval will reply to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or see you thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you as a stranger and take you into our homes or see you in need of clothes and give you something to wear? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “The king will answer them, ‘I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did for me.’

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father we thank you for your everlasting love. ... Help us to share the love you've so generously shared with us. As a family may we treat each other with compassion. Show us any areas where our hearts need to change or repent

DONATE AND SHARE Faith needs steroid treatment to stop the hardening of her small intestines wall. If she doesn't get it, then surgery, which is more expensive. If not that, then the disease is fatal. Kindly find it in your heart to donate. PayPal link: paypal.me/BeverlySheppard (under my previous name)

Health and wholeness require balance. This includes how we balance our past, present and future. NINES— you are oriented to the PAST. For growth, would you be willing to be fully present in the moment, and let it be its own time, free from what has happened in the past? Would you be willing to put energy into a positive hope for your future? #enneagram #enneagram1 #enneagram2 #enneagram3
