Though some time has passed, Ella and I had the extraordinary privilege of leading a trip down the Grand Canyon this summer. After we BOTH pulled permits, we decided to combine our groups to make, well… the best group that’s ever been down that damn river (excluding historical legends). Here are some things I learned
1. Them rapids are bigger than you think!
2. Waking a bunch of 20-30 year olds up is no task for the weak
3. The Snake Farm song
4. Colored sunscreen fucks
5. Sloshball will add at least 5 years to your life
6. Trust your people
7. Cooking spaghetti can take 3 hours
8. Protect your feet
9. That Willis is actually not going to make the eddy (Zen boaters should not be trusted)
10. Bald eagles are unbothered by deep house
What INCREDIBLE friends this world has given me
