As an icebreaker question on the first day of school, I was asked what my favorite musical was. Without hesitation I answered “In the Heights.” Getting to be a part of this production has genuinely been a dream come true in so many ways. This story, more important than ever, meant so much to me, and I loved getting to tell it over and over again. And this cast was truly perfect in every way. I love each one of you so so much and will miss you with my whole heart!!!

In The Heights ☀️⛱️

woah okay omg. this is genuinely the best cast i’ve ever been in. i never could’ve imagined how much joy and pride this show would bring me. i didn’t know much about in the heights before i auditioned expect what i had heard from audios on social media (i hadn’t even watched the movie!!). the main reason i auditioned was because it was a show that i knew would have lots of other hispanic actors and i wanted to surround myself with that kind of community. but i didn’t think it would help me so much with my identify. it has let me figure out who i am as a latina in a community without much of the hispanic aspect besides my dad. so thanks actors for letting me make me debut with yall and for the best show ever!!!

It’s Wednesday! Erika @polishedreadsandsips invited “Summer Skittles” to the #PinkWednesdayAndFriends table. This skittle was inspired by this mural from our set at “In the Heights” @actorstheatrelr 🎭
The graffiti art was created by our very own talented ensemble member AJ @angelino_._
🎨🧡💚💙💜
Swipe 👆🏽through for more pics of the set and costumes that bring Washington Heights to Little Rock - featuring some of the principal characters and the How kids. 🥪 If you’ve been following you know the rest of our run is sold out - an ATLR first! We are so grateful for this amazing cast, crew and creative team for all they do! 🫶🏽
