🔹When I was around 34 weeks pregnant when my friend @cleverhandz came in for a workshop @crossfit8mile. ⁣
⁣
🔹It was such a fun weekend! ⁣
⁣
🔹I remember riding the bike and doing banded dips while everyone else did sexy stuff like oly lifts and bar muscle ups. ⁣
⁣
💠But this time around I wasn’t sad or scared about missing out. ⁣
⁣
🔹I was nervous about birth, having a second child in the house, and my large diastasis; but I was NOT nervous about losing my strength and skills. ⁣
⁣
🔹This is what I want for every pregnant athlete but that is only achieved with the right support. ⁣
⁣
🟦Find your team. And a healthy gym community like @crossfit8mile. ⁣

So much goes on at the gym, on the floor and behind closed doors. It’s truly a team effort. We have such a diverse group that makes up our staff of coaches. That’s the great part about it, everyone brings something different to the table. But things fit together like a puzzle. You take one away and the picture isn’t the same. @monicacarignan and I are truly grateful and appreciative of this group of that really helps shape @crossfit8mile and our community.

THANK YOU @jjust_incredible @markjuco @steven.cramer @maganmourad @e.goon .

🏆COMPETITION TALK🏆⁣
⁣
Last weekend @ighaleb30 and I took on our second team competition of the year together and was it something else! We improved our skills and brought a better package to the floor and took home a 2nd place podium spot💪🏽 ⁣
⁣
THANK YOU to everyone that came out to support and push us in doing the best we can. Gotta love the people that make you better🙏🏽❤️⁣

Thank you to all the athletes willing to throw down for those Open workouts with the whole gym watching and the pressure of your teams rooting you on. It’s not easy and it has an emotional and physical toll.

And thank you ALL OF CROSSFIT 8 MILE for making every night infectious and electric energy. ❤️ 🎱🖤 @crossfitgames @crossfit #8mile #livonia #fitness #theopen
