POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

And if January don't show you’re missing nothing but the cold and talking shit about the moon. I swear I’m coming home soon. Here’s that playlist you wanted with bands I like on it. Significant reasons to forgo the seasons. A graveyard of postcards that falls short on meaning. It feels like a dream but I don’t know who’s dreaming yet.

🍻2026.4🍻
Joyce Manor - I Used To Go To This Bar: (yellow, Epitaph/2026) Hell yeah Joyce Manor are back with another major banger! There's a few songs here you can instantly tell will be live staples for years, overall it's probably my fave JM release since Cody.
•
Dikembe - King: (black ice w/lemon/lavender/baby blue splat, Skeletal Lightning/2025) The kick ass new EP from the Dikem-bois! These guys seriously never miss, here's hoping there's a new LP on the horizon as well!
•
Spanish Love Songs - A Brief Intermission in the Flattening of Time: (Salt 'n Peppa marble, Pure Noise/2025) Sweet new EP feat. a host of rad guest appearances! Also includes the No Joy Acoustic Sessions and Doom & Gloom covers EPs. All in all a pretty cool package!
•
Club Night - Joy Coming Down: (red/purple swirl, Tiny Engines/2025) I'd totally slept on this band until fairly recently but this album friggin' rules! Experimental emo/math rock goodness FFO Cap'n Jazz, Dads, or early TWIABP.
•
Have Mercy - The Loneliest Place I've Ever Been: (Rude/2025) A true return to form from the Have Mercy crew! This new LP brings back more of that sense of urgency from their earlier stuff but also feels more refined, easily their best material in over a decade IMO.
•
Unseemlier - I Have a Screw Loose, Somewhere: (purple marble, Sell the Heart/2025) Killer debut LP from this self described "heavy emo/soft punk" band out of Boston! Whole album rips, raw & jagged yet very catchy.
•
Barely Civil x2: A pair of gems from this excellent emo band! Their sophomore LP 2020's "I'll Figure This Out" (olive green) and the even better 2024 follow up "I'd Say I'm Not Fine" (bone w/orange/purple/yellow splat) both released by Take This to Heart. These guys have been making a name for themselves but deserve even more hype if you ask me!
•
Magazine Beach - Constant Springtime: (baby blue w/pink splat, TTTH/2023) Great debut LP from this underrated emo/punk band! Highly recommended to fans of Tigers Jaw, Good Luck, & Run Forever.

Hello BuThead nation!!! It's been a crazy year, another cool one that's left me feeling, like, wth they're still letting us do this stuff? I still get to do this music thing with some of my favorite, kindest, most talented friends???

To recap:

✅️ Got to rip a slew of crazy fun shows alongside bands we've looked up to and loved for years like Tigernite, Magazine Beach, Skating Polly, Gully Boys, Bad Moves, fukken WHEATUS???

✅️ Took our songs out of Milwaukee for the first time ever playing places like Chicago and fukken Yoop!Fest in Michigan

✅️ Finished recording and then released our first full-length which a bunch of people have written so many beautiful words about and shown us so much love for

✅️ Got to put on a release show for said album with some of our absolute favorite Milwaukee bands

If you've been a part of any of it tytyty so much!!! The world continues to be horrifying and brutal and the future continues to be uncertain and being able to come together over music like this is so humbling and life-affirming! We're cooking up some big plans for 2026 which we'll be sharing at some point but IN THE MEANTIME please come find us at a show this spring, keep being kind and sweet to those around you, and if you've ever wanted to start a project with friends do that!!!

Much love 💞💞💞💞

🛒 2025 at The Garage 🛒

THANK YOU ALL!!! Starting out this year Levi and I had so many exciting plans to keep building and growing The Garage and everything came to a sudden halt back in April. Through it all, you guys have thugged it out with us while we fumble through fighting the law in order to bring community to our peers. Thank you to all the bands, photographers, videographers, bookers, sound people, audience members, and supporters from afar. You mean the world to us! The Garage is quite literally our world, and we’ll do anything to keep it alive. Are you guys ready to see what’s in store for 2026?

SHOUTOUTS:

theres not a single experience that can compare to this one. i've never seen a stronger love accumulated for anything else in my entire life and knowing that everyone came together for a send off like this, that can't be topped. letting it all pour over as everyone said goodbye was nothing short of being like a landslide and such a beautiful celebration of life; i havent lost my voice at a show in a while. it's so hard to put the feeling into words and that's the best i can do i think. this show reminded me that these shows arent just about the music but being there and stepping up for each other and the people you care about who also care about you, and i've never found anything quite like that anywhere else. theres no home i'll miss more and i'm gonna find myself longing for a place like that again, feelings like that again, and i'll just have to take those memories elsewhere around with me. and i know that anywhere i go where the bands that played there tonight play there too, the love will be much of the same—if not THE same. i've never once stepped into that house and felt alone, and becuz of this place i know im not alone. i think the love grows more now that it's officially gone, but it still hurts. i cant say thank you enough to the people that have done literally anything for me at these shows even if it was just say a few words to me in passing, it never leaves my mind. that makes the efforts ppl make to include me in conversations, let me contribute, and even set aside time for me so much more special and it makes me so over the moon happy. moreso it makes me feel at ease when i havent in weeks; just talking to and being with people is a win for me. i cant imagine a future where these people arent turning it around for the better just by being there and sharing what they've created with the world and i cant wait to see everybody go so far. everything is so much better with them in it and i want everyone to see them for what they're worth becuz they change lives and they are so special. they dont just provide music it's so much more than that and they put an insane amount of effort into it and give their all and are good people, like i cant believe 1/2

PUG 4EVER

Tomorrow is the final day of operation at the PUG house, where it all started for us. We will now be having music all day, beginning at Noon and ending whenever we end. We unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show at Orchid Theatre, and as a make up we’ll be hosting Primrose & Magazine Beach as a brunch show matinee on 8/2, 12-5:30pm before RIP PUG 3 🪦 which begins immediately after, 5:30 -10pm.

Both shows are free to attend tomorrow, we just ask that you please buy merch & donate to the bands if you can. We also have so much to giveaway, as always snacks & everything are free at PUG House, but tomorrow it all needs to go! We also have sooooo much beer left (21+ only) we need you to come take off our hands, please. Tomorrow we also celebrate 1 year sober from alcohol to our own @go4_kyleminch & he needs all it out of his house!

Huge shoutout to our very close friends & local legends Antighost, Darcy Moran, & LoudFoxCult for jumping in to support our touring friends in need on an early gig last minute. Couldn’t be more thrilled this all worked out & we get to host Easy Beach (solo/acoustic) too, just like the first set ever at our first house show.

Please grab lunch at @LouisasStreetFood if you’d like to support PUG even more & while you’re there, check out @BellasBeatdownBunker hosting their own DIY gig in Ferndale same time on Sat, you won’t be able to miss it lol.

11 bands, 1 final day. 🪦 RIP PUG House. June 26, 2021 - August 2, 2025.
