At Kilfennan Presbyterian, we’d love to welcome anyone arriving in the city — students, hospital staff, those relocating for work, or anyone making a fresh start. 4 Ways to Respond to the events in Belfast. We have spoken to leaders in intercultural church ministry in our nation who have given us advice on how we can try to show the Love of Christ as we respond to the events happening in Belfast and other areas of Northern Ireland. Please remember the international students who are our brothers and sisters in Christ and we need to be being family to at this time. Alongside those who are not Christians but this could a tremendous opportunity to show the unconditional grace, love and welcome found in Jesus through reaching out to them with love and concern.

Massive Congratulations to all of our societies who were recognised at this year’s SU Awards - some unbelievable work across the board 🙌 🏆 Best Society Activity/Event - @uu_childhealthsoc for their Teddy bear hospital event 🏆 Most improved society - @uu_musicaltheatresociety 🏆 New society of the year - @uu.alternativesociety 🏆 Outstanding Society - @cumanngaelachmhigaoidh Great to see recognition for the work that’s been going on all year, it’s fully deserved. the consistentcy, effort and energy that’s been put into our societies doesn’t go unnoticed and is a vital part of the student experience! Also… @uusucore @uusu_permedsoc & @mageecu were robbed! The judges mustn’t have wanted a clean sweep from Magee 🤷😂 On a personal note, I’ve really valued getting to work alongside so many of you this year and attend your events ❤️ Hope I was able to help in some capacity in what has been a fantastic year! It goes without saying aswell a massive thank you to all of our staff who have kept everything ticking over behind the scenes. The work that goes on in the background often doesn’t get the credit it deserves, but our campuses simply wouldn’t be the same without their support. Will do my best to get across to as many different events as I can before we break for the summer but delighted the future looks bright for our societies!!

Safe to say we were blown away by the energy at our Easter dodgeball tournament... 10 teams, countless supporters and a whole lot of balls thrown, dodged, and caught.🐰🐣🥚 Huge congrats to the teams that placed: 🥇 DSV Eindhoven 🥈 Barbie Girls 🥉 RAM After more dodgeball?🤾‍♀️🤾‍♂️ @UUDodgeball runs weekly sessions. Wednesdays 8-9:30pm at Magee Sports Centre. Get competitive or just have a laugh. See you there!😊 Thanks again to @MageeCU for a fantastic collaboration. Magee CU meets weekly!
