In my opinion, being a parent is the most amazing journey anyone can ever truly go on. Not just because of all the special moments of joy and laughter and pure love. But also, and dare I say mainly, because it’s hard. Raising children is no cake walk. It requires an incredible amount of self sacrifice to merely keep them alive, let alone raise them to be healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. And it is this level of difficulty that brings with it all the lessons, and growth, and evolution of one’s soul thru the process.

Every day I get to watch the woman I love invest so much of her heart, mind, body, and soul into our son, with the love and strength and patience that I would wish on every child. Every day I get to experience the breaking of generational trauma, as we both continue to learn and work and grow as Henson’s parents. It’s inspiring and fulfilling on levels that I didn’t even know possible.

Happy Mother’s Day, @maggiekeating I’m so grateful for you, so proud of you, and Henny and I are so blessed to have a mama bear like you in our lives. 🥰🙏😘
