Debuted the Eflat clarinet last night! First Wind Ensemble Concert of the year!

A fun concert with a great section. Played my second Gotkovsky work for band and loved it. Played with Akropolis (omg) and lots of other amazing stuff. If you missed it check out that livestream while it’s still up.

Our annual Casella Sinfonietta faculty/student side-by-side was SO much fun! We have a new 3-camera system in our recital hall that’s lookin’ MIGHTY fine! Enjoy the clips of our studio members and Dr. @lukemee! Special thanks to our Director of Bands, Dr. Caldwell, for leading this event every year. It’s a truly special experience for all of us!!

We’ve had a blast rehearsing for our faculty/student side-by-side! Featuring music by Milhaud (can we get a HECK YEAH for those unisons??), Revueltas (Dr. @lukemee being a menace on E-flat clarinet), and Hindemith (such a dynamic duo🙌!!). Show is tonight at 7:30! Live-stream link in bio!

What a summer...

Summer 2026

This summer was a doozy, folks! BPG recording session, Scouts (ALL of spring training😮‍💨), hiking, SōSI, being home in Columbus, touring with the Scouts, BTMB Band Camp… I was over, under, around, and through for sure.

However, I couldn’t be more grateful to be as busy as I am, to have incredible opportunities available to me, and to work with some truly inspiring people. I might have had a collective week of free time all summer and am starting the summer with an empty tank, but I feel energized, more in my own skin, and an overwhelming excitement for what’s to come.

Much love as always, team❤️
