Celebrate yourself every day, because the potential and value you bring to the people you work for and with is proof enough that you are who you think you are. Matter of fact, you are all that. But in the midst of it all, don’t forget yourself. Better a tired body than a tired soul, Okay!? Happy International Labour Day.

Being talented alone will never be enough because without the knowledge to use it, it fades.... it hides...it gets wasted. And what truly separates people isn’t just what they have, it’s what they choose to do with it. #B430

I remember the days when I didn’t know what to say when someone asked, “So what do you do?” I’d just think… how do I explain that I’m a social media strategist? Like, all I do is manage socials? Does it even make sense? 🥲 But look at her now, just look her.... might not be where I want to yet but if I made it here then I'll surely make it there🥹🙌 Being on this path has been and will always be a privilege regardless of the dust… I mean vumbi nayo huku ni must. Some people respect and value the expertise and creativity you bring into their businesses, wengine anaona ni kama “ahhh sasa ku create content na kuposti tu nayo ni kitu ya kutaka fedha nyingi?” Like hellooww I don’t sleep sometimes, but we move yeah we move juu sa nita do😂. I’m now at a point where it’s not just about creating content and scheduling posts. I genuinely enjoy when the work pays off watching a brand grow, especially their online presence, from zero followers and no engagement to real followers and real engagement. Huku unaona moja inakuwa kumi, kumi inakuwa mia, mia inakuwa buku and the feeling ooohhh the feeling is unexplainable (ukiskia ku celebrate small wins ndio hii sasa like unakua excited na likes kumi followers 15🥹) Nothing is ever small on this side. Even a simple “let’s not do this” counts. Then you meet a client talking about some “Nataka tu content simple simple SI ata kazi kubwa” I mean sir/ ma'am you can just go do it yourself respectfully✋ As for this year, hata ukitaka tu nikushauri ni content gani u-run ads hiyo nayo itataka consultation fee. Thank you 😂✋ #socialmedia

#repost from @imani.luvanga Tujifunze kuheshimu kazi za watu. Unakuta mtu anakuuliza mbona gharama hivyo? kupost tu Instagram ndio bei hivyo? Ndio, ni expensive. Unajua imemchukua mtu miaka mingapi kujifunza? #mcmaggie
