POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

N8 Diggity’s 20th Annual Ball-Slingers Mishap on the Glorious Lanes of Glory…

There’s something to be said for a person with old friends.
The ones who knew you before the résumé, the gray hair, and the carefully constructed mythology.
They remember the weird face hair, the terrible decisions, the questionable women, the impossible schemes and nights that should probably have ended in jail, but somehow ended up at Waffle House.
These are the people who remember the real you.
Not the polished version. The disillusioned version. The wild version. The idiot version.
And loyalty?
That’s the rare currency.
Because plenty of people will stand beside you when the weather is good. Old friends are the lunatics who stayed through the thunderstorms, the wreckage, and followed you even when you thought you would go-it alone.
They know your history. They know your weaknesses. They have enough ammunition to destroy you.
And they choose not to.
Years later, you sit around a table, somebody says, “Remember when…”
And suddenly the years disappear.
The car is moving. The driver is halfway out the window yelling “Take the Wheel” (Sorry Tom). Everybody is laughing in shear terror,
And you realize the real story was never what happened.
It was who stayed.
Old friends are proof that you were here.
They remember the devastation.
They remember the glory.
And, against all available evidence, they remember you fondly.
That is no small thing.
That is a life.

It’s dangerous to go to Iceland… because you’ll fall in love with it.

With the wild nature, the ever-changing weather, and the feeling that nothing here stays the same for long.

Maggie & Bill came to celebrate one year together—and somewhere between the wind, the waves, and the black sand, Iceland became part of their story.

I don’t just photograph moments, I write them—with light, with movement, with everything I feel in between.
Film or digital… once I see it, I can’t look away.

And this one felt like freedom. 🤍

Life in these times is so weird because people think they can look at someone’s IG & think they have that person all figured out. “Oh, she’s traveling the world, on all these boats, going to festivals with all her friends? Her life must be so great.”

Life’s just funny because so many things can be true at once. I felt so much gratitude when going through photos&videos from this year because I truly did experience so many happy moments. But to be honest? This was the worst year of my life. The most challenging year of my life. The year I got closest to giving up. But no one would know that from the outside looking in.

So I’m just gonna lay it out there, because quite frankly it’s been exhausting running into people and hearing “wow your life’s amazing” & “I wish I had your life,” and having to put on a front and not trauma dump on them right then and there, because I would not wish the life I had in 2025 on my ANYONE. Not doing this to make anyone feel bad for me. Just putting things into perspective so maybe you’ll think twice the next time you want to compare yourself to someone on social media. Because I promise you, people are ALWAYS fighting battles you can’t see, and SOCIAL MEDIA ISN’T REAL :)

2025 - Really all I want to say to you is “fuck you.” But in reality, I want to thank you for molding me into the strongest version of me yet. Truly.

2026 - I think I’ve dealt with enough trauma for a minute… so please be better 🤍
